In “What Typhoon Haiyan tells us about Obamacare” Miller
discusses the underlying reasons for the new law. This new post was created
after a typhoon in the Philippians and Miller uses an analogy to relate the
outpouring support to the victims to Obamacare at its best. The author states “when
human beings are left vulnerable . . . we say such victims “deserve” help
because they are suffering through no fault of their own.” Miller refutes
Obamacare and when it started to become more popular he wrote a desperate plea
to explain the program to those who don’t understand it. Obamacare is deemed
important because the government has declared the law constitutional and Miller refutes this claim by mocking the
law.
